hata map is an informational directory and event-discovery platform for the Ukrainian community in Chicago and nearby areas. By using hata map, you agree to use the platform responsibly and understand the terms described on this page.

Service Description

hata map may provide a directory of businesses, specialists, organizations, and services; local event listings; search, category, map, and nearby-discovery features; and links to third-party websites, social media, contact methods, registration pages, and directions.

hata map is an informational platform. Unless explicitly stated, hata map does not itself provide the listed services, sell event tickets, provide professional advice, or act as a party to transactions between users and listed businesses or organizers.

No Endorsement or Guarantee

Being included in hata map does not automatically mean endorsement, certification, licensing verification, or a guarantee of quality, safety, availability, price, or completeness of information.

Users should independently verify important details, including business credentials, licenses, insurance, prices, availability, event details, and whether a service is suitable for their needs.

Responsibility of Listed Businesses and Organizers

Businesses, specialists, organizations, and event organizers are responsible for the information and services they provide.

• They are responsible for the accuracy of submitted information, services and products, prices and availability, licenses and legal compliance, customer communication, event changes, cancellations, refunds, photographs, descriptions, links, and other submitted content.
• hata map is not a party to transactions, appointments, purchases, or agreements between users and listed businesses or organizers.

User Responsibility

• Use the platform lawfully and respectfully.
• Verify important information before relying on it.
• Do not submit false, misleading, unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
• Do not interfere with the website, security, data, or normal operation of the service.
• Do not use automated scraping or abusive behavior in a way that harms the service.
• Use published contact details responsibly.

Business and Event Submissions

Submitted records may be reviewed before publication and may not be published immediately. Submission does not guarantee publication.

• Submissions may be edited for clarity, formatting, translation, categorization, consistency, and readability.
• Submissions may be approved, rejected, hidden, archived, removed, or left unpublished without an individual explanation.
• Records may be updated using public information or information provided by the business, organizer, or community.

Editorial Rights

hata map may correct obvious errors, standardize titles, categories, formatting, and translations, crop or optimize images, remove duplicates, add publicly available factual information, hide or remove outdated, misleading, inactive, unsafe, or inappropriate records, archive expired events, or refuse submissions that do not fit the platform. These actions may occur without prior notice where necessary.

Removal and Correction Requests

Business owners, organizers, and users may request correction of business information, removal of a listing, correction of event details, or review of inaccurate content by emailing hata.usa0@gmail.com. hata map may request reasonable proof of authority before changing or removing a listing.

Photos and Submitted Content

When you submit text, images, logos, photos, links, or other content, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that doing so does not violate copyright, privacy, trademark, or other rights.

You give hata map a limited, non-exclusive permission to display, resize, crop, optimize, translate, format, and use that content as needed to operate and promote the listing or event on hata map. You do not transfer ownership of your submitted content to hata map.

Third-Party Links and Services

hata map may link to Instagram, websites, phone numbers, directions, ticketing or registration pages, Google Maps, and other external services. hata map does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, content, privacy practices, purchases, transactions, or changes made by those providers.

Events

Event details may change, including date, time, location, price, registration requirements, capacity, cancellation, or postponement. Users should confirm important details with the organizer before attending or purchasing tickets. hata map is not responsible for organizer decisions, refunds, cancellations, or event safety.

Paid and Featured Listings

Some records may be sponsored, promoted, featured, or prioritized. Paid placement does not guarantee results, sales, attendance, or customer inquiries. Sponsorship does not remove the business’s or organizer’s responsibility for its services, event, and information. Promoted content should be identified where practical.

Platform Availability and Changes

hata map may change features, update categories, modify layouts, suspend parts of the service, remove content, or experience outages and maintenance. hata map does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Limitation of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, hata map is not responsible for losses arising from reliance on inaccurate or outdated listing information, interactions with businesses or organizers, third-party websites or services, event cancellations, service interruptions, or unauthorized or incorrect submissions.

Privacy

Use of hata map is also subject to the Privacy Policy, which describes current privacy practices.

Termination and Misuse

hata map may restrict access, reject submissions, or remove content related to fraud, impersonation, unlawful activity, harassment, spam, security abuse, repeated false submissions, or infringement of third-party rights.

Governing Context

These Terms are interpreted under applicable laws. Specific rights and obligations may vary depending on jurisdiction.

Updates to These Terms

hata map may update these Terms as the platform changes. Material changes should be reflected by changing the “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update means you are using the platform under the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
